Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Payneville Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Follows the school calendar with an afternoon schedule from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, offering part-time, non-exempt employment. Pay ranges from $14.50 to $16.00 per hour, with employer-paid childcare benefits and various voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies; follow host school rules.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
