Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children in school/childcare preferred.
• Ability to supervise groups safely.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to Catholic education.
• Background checks and Safe Environment training completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during afterschool program hours and ensure safety.
• Lead and assist with recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
• Support homework completion and study habits as needed.
• Foster a positive, respectful environment that supports student growth.
• Monitor behavior and enforce policies consistently.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and attendance records.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student needs.
• Prepare, organize, and clean activity areas and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents as required.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students, families, and school information.
• Uphold the mission and teachings of Holy Cross Academy and the Catholic Church.
