Job summary

Salt Lake City School District is seeking an After School Group Leader to supervise and mentor students in after-school programs, ensuring safety, fairness and equitable opportunities.

This part-time role runs 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday and 12:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. on Fridays, with fingerprinting and health certifications required. A high school diploma and CPR/First Aid are expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced using data-based software.
• Speak, read, write, and present professionally; analyze and interpret English communications.
• Fingerprint and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in growth through educational, social, enrichment and recreational activities.
• Receive and release students to parent or designee to ensure safety.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities for various programs.
• Provide homework assistance and promote good study habits.
• Supervise students to ensure a safe and positive educational environment.
• Prepare and maintain food for students per health standards.
• Support site coordinator with projects and lesson planning.
