Job summary

YMCA of Southwest Florida is looking for a caring individual to oversee participants in our Before/After School Program and Summer Camp. The role requires ensuring the safety and well-being of children, encouraging their involvement in activities, and maintaining a clean environment.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience with children, a positive attitude, and the ability to respect confidentiality. CPR and First Aid certifications are required. This position promises to be fulfilling as you help foster a positive environment for kids in our care.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete State of Florida Criminal History Background Check.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Must adhere to a drug/alcohol/smoke free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of participants at all times.
• Encourage participation in activities for participant growth.
• Document attendance and incidents for compliance.
