Job summary

Upper Saddle River School District is seeking qualified staff to join the Aftercare program, assisting students in a variety of after-school activities such as workshops, free play, and homework support.

The program runs Monday–Friday from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, focusing on academics, social-emotional learning and wellness initiatives. Flexible scheduling/shifts are available and we will contact only those selected for interview.

Qualifications

• Interest and experience working with children.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with youth, family and other staff.
• Ability to work as a team member, independently and collaboratively and bring creative and innovative ideas to the program.
• Ability to facilitate and provide support with homework help, free-play, enrichment programs and/or other activities.
