Job summary

Brains and Motion Education is seeking a part-time Floater Instructor to deliver STEAM, arts, and sports activities across multiple Fontana-area schools. You will substitute for instructors, engage students, and help with prep and materials when not teaching.

The role emphasizes adaptability, strong communication, and a love for working with children in grades K-8, with travel to various campuses required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in sports, STEAM, arts, or a related field, with a passion for working with children.
• Previous teaching, coaching, tutoring, or youth-program experience preferred.
• Ability to confidently engage and manage students in grades K-8.
• Flexibility to provide instructional coverage across multiple school locations.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and positive classroom-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned program locations.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Provide Instructional Coverage: Substitute for scheduled instructors at different school locations as needed.

• Maintain a Positive Environment: Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment while managing student behavior.
