Job summary

Brains and Motion Education seeks enthusiastic After-School Enrichment Instructors to lead structured play, homework support, and STEAM and sports activities in our San Francisco programs.

The role is part-time with hours 12:00–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, starting mid-August and running through June. You will inspire and guide K-8 students in a fun, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework (48 units) or an associate’s degree or ESSA certification.
• 1-2 years of experience in STEM/Arts/Sports with youth.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring youth.

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic After-School Enrichment Instructors to lead structured play, homework assistance, and a variety of STEAM and sports activities. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide young minds in a dynamic and supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate’s degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the "Every Student Succeeds Act".
• 1-2 years of experience in STEM, Arts, and/or Sports subject areas, with a strong passion for sharing your expertise with youth.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
• Ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Ability to pass a background check via online/live scan.
• Availability between 12:00-6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to lift and carry 20-50 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations.

• Wage: $27.00/hour

• Availability: Starting 08/17/26 - 06/11/27, Mondays through Fridays between 12pm-6pm
