Job summary

BE Great seeks a Program Director at South Lake Elementary School in Lexington, SC. This part-time seasonal role oversees program delivery, staffs planning, and liaises with parents and the community to provide pro-social youth development opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Youth Development (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of program delivery experience, plus CPR/First Aid certification. The role reports to the Campus Director and may include regional site assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Youth Development field (or equivalent education and experience) and 2-3 years program delivery experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote Core Values.
• Implement Curriculum.
• Organizes, directs and implements programming in core program areas.
• Provides individual and group instruction.
• Maintain discipline and enforce Club rules.
• Refer youth to appropriate services.
• Manage and delegate tasks to program staff.
• Meet with volunteers and orientate them to the Club environment.
• Ensure programs align with mission, policies and procedures.
• Assist staff in guiding youth to appropriate program choices.
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings.
• Solicit input from staff, community, parents, volunteers, and members.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Other duties as assigned.
