Job summary

Innovation Learning is seeking a Head Coach to lead an after-school program across multiple Atlanta-area sites. You will create a safe, engaging environment and supervise staff while supporting youth development and family partnerships.

The role requires leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage program operations from 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including before- and after-school sessions and school breaks.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead staff while engaging with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.
• Supervise and support site staff; provide coaching and feedback.
• Build relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
