Job summary

Innovation Learning Inc. is seeking a Head Coach to lead an after-school program site in the Atlanta area. You will create a safe, engaging environment, guide daily operations, supervise staff, and build strong relationships with students, families, and school partners.

The role requires energetic, organized leadership, experience with youth development, and the ability to manage attendance, transitions, and program records while adhering to state licensing and company policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
• Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.
• Supervise and support site staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel.
• Communicate program updates, successes, and student needs.
• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns.
