Job summary

The Foote School seeks a part-time After School Program Teacher to lead activities for students in kindergarten through ninth grade. This role offers 10–15 hours per week with afternoon hours and a supportive, playful environment that fosters social and creative growth.

You will design crafts, games, reading and cooking activities, supervise safe play, and collaborate with ASP staff to create meaningful experiences after school.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to different needs and situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• First Aid/AED/CPR certification (preferred, training available).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in all aspects of the afterschool experience.
• Create and run structured activities such as crafts, sports, games, reading, and cooking.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for students.
• Plan and implement projects and enrichment opportunities.
• Collaborate with other ASP staff to support the overall program.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
