Job summary

Cherry Creek is seeking an Educational Support Personnel member to actively supervise students in the school-based child care program under the guidance of a qualified leader. The role focuses on developing positive relations with families and school staff while ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

The position supports structured and unstructured activities, following district policies and contributing to program quality.

Qualifications

At least 16 years of age.
Must work directly under supervision of director/leader.
Complete at least 15 clock hours of training each year.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Demonstrate ability to work with school-age children.
Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

Completes tasks assigned by director, assistant director, or leader.
Follows ECS Procedures Manual.
Participates and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures.
Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and coworkers.
Follows district policies and uses district facilities with care.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
