Job summary

Upper Merion Area School District in King of Prussia, PA seeks a Middle School Math Counts coach for the 2026-27 school year to organize and lead after-school math clubs.

Qualifications

• Clearances, physical and TB test, and district requirements must be completed before employment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, and facilitate regular after-school MATHCOUNTS/Math Club meetings.
• Plan activities and practice sessions forGrades 6–8.
• Coach students on Sprint, Target, Team, and Countdown rounds.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding schedules and progress.
• Register the school’s team with MATHCOUNTS and PA chapter.
• Manage budget, registration fees, or fundraising per district policies.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies during meetings and events.
