BBA Afterschool Inc. in Baltimore County is seeking an After-School Math Instructor/Tutor to lead an Academic Success: Math Enrichment program for elementary students.

The role is part-time and after-school, with 1.5-hour sessions at $37.50 per session ($25 per hour). Curriculum is provided, no lesson planning required, and in-person work in Baltimore County. Ideal candidates are patient, enthusiastic, and capable of building confidence in math while supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of elementary-level mathematics.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
• Must complete Baltimore County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and age-appropriate math enrichment sessions
• Provide academic support and tutoring to elementary students
• Help students understand and practice key mathematical concepts
• Use hands-on activities, practice exercises, and engaging learning methods
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
