Job summary

Livermoreschools is seeking an Extended Learning Assistant to develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with ELO-P and district goals. You will supervise students, organize materials, and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.

The role requires a high school diploma with 12 ECE core units and preferred six months of related experience in licensed or exempt preschool facilities or school-age programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with twelve (12) ECE core units from an accredited college.
• Six months experience in a licensed or exempt preschool facility or school-age program preferred.
• Equivalency: combination of education, training, and/or experience to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement interactive lessons aligned with ELO-P and district goals.
• Supervise students during all program activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Prepare and organize lesson plans, newsletters, snack menus, and calendars.
• Assist site lead with materials, check-in/check-out, attendance, and written reports.
• Communicate with staff, parents, and visitors as needed.
