Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking an After School Teacher Assistant to help children with learning activities in a nurturing setting. You will collaborate with the teaching team to promote self-awareness and independence, and support positive behavior management.

You will communicate with teachers and parents about health, behavior, and development, ensuring high-quality customer service and program goals. This role also supports the food program activities and maintains records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or HS senior if at least 18.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning activities in a supportive environment.
• Communicate with teacher about child health, behavior and learning development.
• Support food program including preparation, distribution and record keeping.
