Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties seeks a Lead Staff member to assist the Site Coordinator with planning and delivering youth programs. The role emphasizes safe, engaging environments and helping members build confidence and skills.

Starting as a Lead Staff, you will implement activities, supervise youth, and support staff while adhering to program goals and district policies. This is a full-time position with bi-lingual pay considerations and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience working with youth.
• 12 college credits required/preferred for program staff.
• Experience in program planning.
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the program.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet varying needs of children.
• Promote and market programs to Club members.
• Contribute to the Club’s climate for youth development and success.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
• Maintain upkeep of equipment and manage supplies.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the classroom.
• Follow Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) and administrative policies.
• Attend required meetings and trainings to stay competent.
• Assist Site Coordinator and lead assistant staff as needed.
