The Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties seeks a Youth Development Professional for after-school programs in Pasco, WA. This part-time, hourly role starts at $17.15–$19.88 per hour and includes bilingual pay opportunities for assessed skills.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems.
• CPR/First Aid Card (preferred).
• MMR Vaccination or Medical/Religious Exemption.
• Be able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements activities for youth that give them a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence, and competence utilizing existing curriculum from Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
• Works with Site Coordinator to set up community relationships which benefit the Club and its members.
• Establishes a program setting that ensures health and safety of members.
• Promotes and markets programs to Club members.
• Ensure that licensing regulations are being followed.
• Outreach and recruitment.

Youth Development Professionals visibly enjoy working with children and create an environment that is safe and fun while helping members build confidence and skills.
