Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time After School Instructor/Primary School Professional in Buena Park, CA. You will lead activities that spark curiosity, foster creativity, and help children feel safe and included after school hours.

Hours: Mon Tue Thu Fri 1:50/2:00–6:00 PM; Wed 12:00–6:00 PM at Mabel L. Pendleton and Carl E. Gilbert Elementary. HS diploma required; 18+; CPR/First Aid preferred; flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Bilingual is a plus.

• Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.

Part-Time After School Instructor/ Primary School Professional-Buena Park, CA

Pay: $19.00/per hour

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. As a Program Leader we are looking for individuals to inspire, spark curiosity, encourage creativity, foster a sense of community, warmth, and promote a deep sense of belonging for every child.

Locations: Mabel L. Pendleton Elementary & Carl E. Gilbert Elementary

Program Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:50/2:00-6:00 PM

Wednesday from12:00-6:00 PM

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
