The Child Center of NY seeks a Group Leader to provide a safe, fun after-school experience for a consistent group of youth. You will plan and facilitate pro-social activities and lesson plans to support healthy development.

Responsibilities include homework help, supervising activities, and documenting attendance while collaborating with program leadership to deliver engaging projects and reports to families and schools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Minimum 2 years direct experience working with children.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide homework help, facilitate activities, and supervise children after school hours.
• Develop high-quality, hands-on project-based lessons with program leadership support.
• Support showcases and exhibits to share student work with families and stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and school faculty.
• Attend program meetings and participate in professional development.
