Job summary

The Child Center of NY is seeking a Group Leader to provide a safe, fun, and enriching after-school experience for a consistent group of youth in Crown Heights. You will plan and facilitate pro-social activity lessons and curricula to support healthy youth development across multiple areas.

Responsibilities include homework help, activity facilitation, and documentation, with strong emphasis on behavior management, attendance, and teamwork with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 2 years direct experience working with children.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently.
• Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines, communicate with stakeholders, and manage competing tasks.

Responsibilities
