Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have at least 2 years of direct experience working with children.
• Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in education, youth development, or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and professionalism are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision to an assigned group of students.
• Lead group through daily procedures: arrival, snack, transitions, activities, and dismissal.
• Ensure supervision complies with licensor regulations at all times.
• Take attendance and account for all assigned students during program time.
• Assist with activity facilitation and support participants with learning and behavioral needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom/space and proper use of shared spaces and materials.
• Follow incident response and safety drills, and report injuries or emergencies.
• Participate in required Mental Health training and adhere to the program's mental health plan.
• Maintain professional boundaries and communicate clearly with staff, students, and families.
