South Shore YMCA in Scituate is seeking a Before and After School Assistant Group Leader to help implement classroom activities, assist with homework, and support a safe, engaging afterschool program for K–5. This part‑time role covers AM and PM shifts at Wampatuck and Jenkins Elementary, with hours 6:45–9:00 AM and 2:45–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience with school-age children and EEC regulations preferred.
• Must pass background check: EEC background checks including fingerprinting.
• Knowledge of EEC regulations.

Aufgaben

• Program Management: Assist in planning and executing programs meeting EEC/HEPA/QRIS/CACFP standards and children's needs; help accommodate children with disabilities per EEC and ADA.
• Staff Engagement: Assist in supervising program participants per EEC/QRIS standards; communicate staff-related requirements to your supervisor.
• Membership Engagement: Build family relationships, assist with inquiries, and help recruit new families.
• Facility Management: Help keep program facilities and equipment safe, clean, and well maintained.
• Volunteer Development: Assist in engaging volunteers.
• Community Involvement: Support YMCA fundraising activities and community partnerships.
