Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with teaching and supervising children (grades K-5) in a recreational or educational setting.
• Must be at least 19 years old and have a high school diploma.
• Documentation of TB test results signed by a medical practitioner licensed in NC by first day of employment.
• Documentation of CPR, SFA and Playground Safety certification.
• Completion of required CEU credits by designated date.
• Adherence to PBIS guidelines for behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and supervises children in all program activities and on field trips.
• Plans and organizes a variety of enriching activities conforming to NC licensing requirements.
• Provides a safe environment for students' wellbeing.
• Participates in weekly site staff meetings.
• Follows PBIS guidelines for managing student behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
