Job summary

Wisconsin Youth Company in Madison is seeking a part-time Group Leader to supervise and engage children in 4K–5 during indoor and outdoor play at After School programs. You will support the site supervisor with daily tasks like snack prep and program setup and help in community events throughout the school year.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED, and experience with children.

What You'll Do

Position Summary:The group leader supervises and engageschildren in grades4K-5during indoor and outdoor play at After School. The group leaderis responsible forguiding their group of children and supporting the site supervisor in the program by helping with daily tasks such as snack preparation and program set-up and take-down.The group leader will alsoassistin neighborhood center community event initiativesthroughout the school year.

This is a school year position with theoptionto join our summerteam.

Up to $17.75 per hour, pay is based on education and experience

Part-time,up to18.5hours per week, Monday1:00-5:30 p.m., Tuesday-Friday 2:00-5:30 p.m.

Elver Park Neighborhood Center is located on Madison's southwest side.The Neighborhood Centerservesitssurroundingcommunityby providingprogramsand services that strengthen connections, support families, and foster community engagement. TheAfterSchool programtakesplacewithin theneighborhoodcenter buildingunder the direction of a site supervisor.
