Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader for our after-school programs at Penn Hills Township Elementary School in Pittsburgh. You will help shape meaningful after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

This role requires a high school diploma with related experience in early childcare or education, and the ability to work Monday through Friday, 3pm-6pm. You will support curriculum activities and uphold child safety as the top priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with relevant experience in childcare or education.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized space.
• Willingness to support curriculum activities after school.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
• Prioritize child safety and follow all procedures
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Education

High School Diploma with 2 years experience

15 college credits in early childhood education

30 college credits in education

$200.00 Hiring Bonus $17.00 Hourly

Location(s):Penn Hills Township Elementary School located at 1079 Jefferson Rd Pittsburgh PA 15235

Hours: Monday through Friday 3pm-6pm

High School Diploma with two years experience working with children- early childcare, preschool and elementary education

High school diploma with 15 college credits in early childhood education, child development and elementary or special education with 1 year experience

A high school diploma with 30 college credits in education of early childhood, special or elementary education or human service field no experience required
