Job summary

DREAM is seeking part-time Enrichment Specialists to create diverse after-school experiences for PreK-8 students across East Harlem and the Bronx. You’ll design and deliver lesson plans, collaborate with Youth Workers, and embed literacy while managing a safe, engaging environment.

Hours are Mon-Thu 3–6:15pm, start 8/25/2026 and end 6/4/2027. Pay ranges from $30 to $38 per hour, with opportunities for seasonal increases based on performance and DREAM’s compensation practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working with groups of youth or similar experience.
• Ability to independently plan and implement lessons in a specialty area.
• Clear passion for specialty area and youth development.
• Understanding of effective youth development strategies and conflict resolution.
• Exemplary social, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans for PreK-3 aligned to program model and enrichment.
• Grades 4-8: design and deliver lesson plans culminating in a project.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and leadership to provide cohesive experiences.
• Embed literacy throughout instruction and prepare materials beforehand.
• Maintain health and safety protocols and model professional behavior.
