Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area seeks energetic Enrichment Club Leaders to plan and implement after-school programs for youth ages 5-12 in Markesan. This role works with the Site Coordinator to deliver engaging, high-energy activities focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, experience with youth, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and positive youth development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and knowledge of child development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
• Commitment to health, wellness, and fitness messaging for youth.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-yield activities/ programs in a group setting.
• Create an environment that supports youth development outcomes.
• Foster creativity in a high-energy environment.
• Promote programs and recruit youth to participate.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to youth.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety and quality.
• Prepare outcome reports in line with grants.
• Oversee youth with a 1:18 ratio.
• Assist with cleaning to maintain clean facilities.
• Ensure safety is a priority in all activities.
• Participate in events outside typical hours as needed.
• Maintain organized, safe program spaces.
• Serve as mandated child abuse reporter.
