Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Tri-County Area seeks an energetic Enrichment Club Leader for Green Lake to plan and implement after-school and summer programs for ages 5-12, focusing on academic support, healthy lifestyles, and leadership development.

You will work with the Site Coordinator to create high-yield activities, ensure safety, recruit participants, and document outcomes. Part-time role, 15-25 hours per week, pay $14-$16 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working with youth and knowledge of child development.
• Proven ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability & commitment to be a role model and promote health and fitness.
• Pass drug test and background check before employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-yield activities in a group setting (15-25 hours/week).
• Create an environment that supports Youth Development Outcomes and engages youth.
• Foster fun and creativity in a high-energy setting.
• Promote programs and recruit youth to participate in activities.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to youth and monitor safety.
• Prepare outcome measurement reports in compliance with grants.
• Oversee a select group of youth with a 1:18 ratio.
• Assist with cleaning of program areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Ensure safety is the highest priority of all Club programs and activities.
• May participate in special programs outside of typical work hours.
