Job summary

Baroody Camps is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our broader team in Northern Virginia. You will teach Baroody Camps’ curriculum to elementary students, helping them explore science, STEM, cooking, sports, and more.

Most shifts are 1.5 hours with about 1 hour of instructional time. Expect a typical weekly schedule of three teaching days, with availability on two weekdays plus one additional day on Monday or Friday. Paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, childcare, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for scheduled class (2:00 PM–6:00 PM window).
• Prepare classroom and materials before students arrive.
• Take attendance and monitor snacks when applicable.
• Teach Baroody Camps' curriculum for ~1 hour.
• Create a fun, engaging, structured learning environment.
• Supervise and manage students safely and respectfully.
• Ensure safe dismissal per school procedures.
• Clean and organize classroom after each class.
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and Baroody Camps team.
• Pick up program supplies as needed (varying by subject).
