Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging After-School STEM Instructors to lead hands-on STEM enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Landover Hills, MD.

This part-time, after-school position runs Monday through Friday for 1.5-hour sessions. Classes are in-person in Landover Hills with curriculum and equipment provided; no weekends and no lesson planning required. Compensation is $37.50 per session ($25 per hour).

Qualifications

• Experience in STEM, teaching, tutoring, or youth programs preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with elementary students (K–5).
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Landover Hills.
• Must successfully complete Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, hands-on STEM activities for elementary students.
• Follow BBA Afterschool's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Introduce age-appropriate STEM concepts in math, science, engineering, and technology.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
