Job summary

DREAM is seeking an After School Enrichment Specialist to design and deliver enrichment activities for Pre-K to 8 students in REAL Kids and DreamBuilders. You will work with Youth Workers and school staff to create engaging, project-based experiences that foster creativity and learning in the afternoons.

The role requires a part-time commitment (3 days per week, 3:00pm–6:15pm) in-person at Highbridge, NY, with a salary between $30 and $38 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working with groups of youth, or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to independently plan and implement lessons in specialty area.
• Clear passion for specialty area.
• Understanding of effective youth development strategies and conflict resolution.
• Exemplary social, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans for enrichment activities for PreK-3 to 8.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and leadership to provide cohesive youth experiences.
• Embed literacy throughout instruction.
• Prepare materials before activities and clean up afterwards.
• Encourage youth to participate and maintain professional behavior.
• Implement health and safety protocols and respond to incidents.
