Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
• Able to meet suitability criteria under state and district policies.
• Ability to work effectively with children and adults; good communication.
• Follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and work with staff.
• Basic technology use for communication and records.
• Physically able to perform job duties and maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during activities and transitions.
• Assist with tutoring and enrichment activities.
• Monitor attendance and prepare instructional materials.
• Assist with snack distribution and dismissal procedures.
• Support student behavior expectations and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain attendance records, inventories, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to support student success; adhere to policies.
