Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to join our after-school program in Sherwood, AR. You will plan and facilitate engaging activities, maintain a safe, upbeat environment, and partner with families and school staff to support children's learning and well-being.

The role is part-time (up to 17.5 hours/week) with afternoon shifts (2:30 PM–6:00 PM), pay $16.00–$18.00 per hour based on education and experience, and a focus on inspiring a love of learning while ensuring safety and joy in program

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience with children preferred.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and engage children in physical activities.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Meet Arkansas state requirements: First Aid/CPR, TB test, MMR, background checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate daily activities aligned with program goals.
• Lead structured activities and curriculum for educational and fun experiences.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Ensure safety, document attendance and incidents as required.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
