Job summary
Right At School is hiring an Educator for its after-school program in New York. The role runs Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, with up to 15 hours per week. You will organize activities, support curriculum, and foster a love of learning in a safe, engaging setting for children.
Strong teamwork and customer service skills are essential. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience with children under 13, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and a commitment to the program's mission of inspiring
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience working with children under 13.
- Ability to meet state requirements and safety protocols.
- Commitment to inspiring a love of learning and safe, engaging environments.
Responsibilities
- Review daily goals and progress in program meetings.
- Prepare and lead activities and curriculum aligned with objectives.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment with positive guidance.
- Monitor safety, attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
