Leapstart Inc. in Cupertino, CA seeks experienced after-school teachers for TK-5th grade support. You will supervise homework, nurture student development, and maintain a safe learning environment after school hours.

The role emphasizes strong communication with families, organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates should be 18+, with background checks, vaccinations, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Fluency in additional languages is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience with elementary-aged children.
• Understanding of children's developmental stages.
• Calm, patient demeanor.
• Stellar communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive and pick up children (preferred).
• Background and fingerprinting check.
• Medical/TB exam and required vaccinations.
• 18 years or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• 12+ ECE units (preferred).
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Hindi is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Oversee homework and ensure children feel confident in their learning.
• Build relationships between parents, students, and staff.
