The Learning Experience in McKinney, TX is seeking an energetic Afterschool Teacher/Bus Driver to engage students after school and transport them safely. This dual role combines classroom activity with responsible driving within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates have experience with school-age children, a clean driving record, CPR/First Aid certification, and a passion for child development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with school-age children in an educational or childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in structured afterschool programs and activities
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and enrichment activities
• Safely transport children to and from school and program locations following all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and bus environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and daily updates
• Monitor student behavior and enforce positive discipline strategies
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with safety regulations
