Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Clarkston, MI is seeking a part-time Bus Driver and After Care Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade after school hours.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids, has a valid chauffeur endorsement, CPR/First Aid certification, a clean background, and reliable transportation. Schedule Monday–Friday 2:00pm–6:00pm with competitive hourly pay starting at $15.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with chauffer’s endorsement to drive the 14-passenger bus.
• Background check (fingerprinting) required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (can be completed within 30 days of hire).
• Prior elementary teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff.
• Provides active supervision at all times.
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor).
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions.
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack.
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom.
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures.
