Job summary

Xplor Preschool & School Age is seeking a creative School Age Teacher & Bus Driver to join our team. The role combines classroom teaching with safe bus transportation for after-school programs, fostering curiosity and foundational skills for Pre-K and beyond.

You will design lessons, encourage exploration, and build trusting relationships with children and families, while collaborating with colleagues to maintain a warm, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Available Monday - Friday, 2:00-6:30 PM.
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a nurturing, enthusiastic personality.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Drive a mini-bus (non-CDL).
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
• Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the school community through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence.
