Almost Family is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for after-school and weekend hours. This part-time role serves clients ages 3-17 in community settings, providing attendant and relief care, and helping with daily activities and meaningful community engagement.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Team player
• Open to shifts including days, evenings, weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide attendant care and relief care
• Help clients engage in community activities
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Assist with household tasks and home management
• Encourage life skills and independence
• Follow individual care plans and maintain documentation
• Support the mission of empowering clients to live life to the fullest
