The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Counselor II to provide a safe, inclusive, and enriching child care experience for children and youth ages 5-12. You will serve as a mentor, role model, and facilitator, guiding kids through recreational, educational, and character-building activities to help them develop social skills and confidence.

• Meet the qualifications set forth by the YMCA and Virginia DOE standards.
• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work at various program locations and develop positive relationships.
