LIFT Enrichment is seeking a Chef Teacher to lead healthy cooking workshops in Title I schools. You'll guide hands-on lessons, ensure safety, and make cooking fun for students after school hours.

Ideal candidates bring comfort cooking, ability to manage groups of 15–20, reliable transportation, and a passion for education. This seasonal/part-time role offers paid training and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids in settings like camps, schools, or programs.
• Experience cooking basic meals; no formal chef background required.
• Reliable transportation to and from workshop sites.
• Ability to lead groups of students and manage class activities.

Responsabilités

• Availability:?2:30 PM ? 5:30 PM, 2-4 days per week.
• Experience working with kids:?i.e. summer camp counselor, retired teacher, etc.
• Experience cooking:?i.e. basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required)
• Logistics:?Must have reliable transportation.
• Operations:?Lead groups of 15?20 students, transport provided culinary kits, and teach fun recipes from our curriculum like: i.e. Black Bean Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Tenders.
