Job summary

LIFT Enrichment is seeking seasonal/part-time Chef Teachers in California (Porterville area) to lead healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts. You’ll deliver engaging cooking activities, manage groups of 15–20 students, and use provided culinary kits. Reliable transportation is required.

Availability on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM is expected. Compensation covers grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup, with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Availability: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Experience working with kids (e.g., summer camp counselor, retired teacher).
• Experience cooking basic meals; no formal chef experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15–20 students, transport culinary kits, and teach recipes from our curriculum (e.g., Black Bean Quesadillas, Crispy Chicken Tenders).
