Job summary

LIFT Enrichment is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Cooking Instructor to lead hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools. The role offers a part-time seasonal schedule with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

You will teach two workshops per day, covering preparation, teaching, and cleanup, and you will be paid for approximately 5 hours of work per session. No professional chef experience required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading groups of children in educational or activity settings.
• Ability to teach basic cooking concepts to K-8 students.
• Willingness to learn our curriculum and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15–20 students (K-8) through hands-on cooking activities.
• Teach healthy recipes using provided curriculum.
• Introduce kids to basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety.
• Keep students engaged, excited, and involved.
• Manage setup, cooking, and cleanup; transport supplies as needed.

After-School Cooking Instructor / Chef Teacher

LIFT Enrichment is looking for enthusiastic Chef Teachers to lead fun, hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools.

Since 2010, we’ve taught 75,000+ students and built a team of 200+ Chef Teachers. No professional chef experience required — we provide training!

The Details:

• Rate: $28/hour
• Schedule: Mondays and Fridays 2:40 pm to 6:30 pm
• Age Groups: Elementary School
• Location: Greenfield USD
• Position: Seasonal, part-time
• Paid training + mileage reimbursement
• Grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup are paid

A typical day includes teaching two workshops, you will be paid for approximately 5 hours of work which covers preparation, teaching, and cleanup.

What You'll Do

• Transport program supplies to the school.
