Job summary

The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley in Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley is seeking a Site Coordinator to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children enrolled in after-school programs. You will supervise staff, plan daily activities, and maintain open communication with parents.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a state background check for child care workers.
• Must meet 75-point Site Coordinator criteria per Iowa child care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and welfare of children in the program.
• Supervise group leaders at assigned site and assist with staffing absences.
• Plan and organize daily activities ensuring age-appropriate content.
• Communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up.
• Prepare incident reports promptly and accurately.
