Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic, reliable instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Morgan Hill, CA. Lead engaging chess classes for elementary students using our structured curriculum and promote good sportsmanship.

You’ll teach 1–5 classes per week, typically between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, with mileage reimbursement for travel between local schools. The role offers flexible hours, full training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, friendly, and fun sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead chess classes for 10–15 elementary students, keeping them engaged and safe.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
