Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead engaging enrichment programs for elementary students in Annapolis, MD. This part-time, after-school role offers 1.5-hour sessions, Monday through Friday, with $45 per session ($30 per hour).

In-person positions at local elementary schools help kids learn, have fun, and stay active. No weekends or lesson planning required; curriculum, music, and equipment are provided, and opportunities for advancement exist

Qualifications

Experience in cheer, dance, gymnastics, fitness, or coaching preferred but not required.
Experience working with children is a plus.
Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.
Reliable transportation to schools throughout Annapolis.
Must complete Anne Arundel County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging cheer and dance sessions for elementary students.
Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities.
Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork.
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
Encourage confidence, creativity, participation, and positive sportsmanship.
Maintain a professional relationship with school staff and BBA leadership.
