Job summary

School of Science and Technology is hiring a Before and After School Care Aide and Library Coordinator. The role supports teachers, assists with student goals, and helps manage classroom activities within a campus setting.

Responsibilities include supervising students during breakfast, recess, and events; assisting with ARD/IEP paperwork; and helping plan differentiated instruction while maintaining organized classrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college hours preferred.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with student academic goals and small groups.
• Support classroom management and learning environments.
• Supervise students during meals, recess, and events.
• Prepare and handle paperwork for ARD/IEP and data entry for reports.
• Assist with differentiated instruction planning and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
