Job summary

St. Casimir Catholic School in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Teacher, Extended Care (NE) to supervise and engage students from PreK3 through Grade 8 during after-school hours.

The role focuses on safety, well-being, and providing a positive, structured environment until pick-up time. Responsibilities include organizing arts and crafts, group games, homework assistance, snack distribution, and clear communication with parents at pick-up.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a group setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, nurturing and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students PreK3 - Grade 8 in a safe, friendly manner.
• Organize and facilitate age-appropriate activities (arts & crafts, games, homework help, outdoor play).
• Assist with snack distribution and monitor students during snack time.
• Ensure students’ emotional and physical needs are met.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up time with updates on the day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe environment.
• Collaborate with staff to manage behavior and provide support as needed.
