Job summary

St. John the Evangelist School in Severna Park, MD, is seeking a part-time Extended Care Teacher to care for children before and after school. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and educational support in a Catholic school environment.

Responsibilities include implementing instructional activities, observing and reporting to the Director, and collaborating with staff to meet student needs. Monday–Friday, 2:30–6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide care before and after school from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Ensure the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and school administration.
• Deliver instructional and educational support as needed.
